BEAUTY ROUTINE

Taking care of my skin and my hair is a very important part of my routine. I dye my hair blonde, so it is super special that I give it plenty of TLC. My skin rarely breaks out, mainly due to my clean diet, but if I do not keep up with my skincare routine it can. Keeping up a good routine can be difficult, so here are some tips on how to make it work!

I love my hair. Gabby does an amazing job taking care of it every single time I visit StudioPosh 29... So it is left to me to make sure I keep my beaitful hair in its best shape. I treat my hair every week in between salon visits with Olaplex.

I use this either in the shower, leaving on  towel-dried hair for 10 minutes OR I choose to leave it on for 30 minutes as an intensive treatment. It makes my hair so soft!

During the 30 minutes I usually just chill, do a face mask, or check emails.
One of my favorite hair brands is R+Co! Everything that they have is not only amazing for your hair, but it smells amazing and comes in the greatest containers ever. I have their Dallas travel set, which is all about volume in your hair. I also have their dry shampoo, which I practically use on the daily.

I got this travel set from Birchbox, got it shipped for free! I use the Dallas spray all the time, to give my hair that extra volume when styling a blow out.

The best thing about this dry shampoo is that it doesn't leave that white dust in your roots like other spray dry shampoos. It comes in a paste form that you can rub between your fingers. Great for absorbing oil and making your second-day hair look hot.

One of my other new favorites is Beauty Protector... I fell in love with the Protect & Detangler after getting the sample version with my very first Birchbox. After using it a few times, I immediately ordered the full size version! Your hair will feel so soft and smooth after using this. It is a hair savior...
Apply to damp hair (or to dry, but not as much) and blow/air dry. Leave in conditioner. Perfect for all hair types.

Just got this in my October Birchbox, so excited to use it and give a review! I love Amika texture spray, so this should also be a hit.

I have oily/dry skin. Most of the time I have to combine different products to achieve a balance. That's okay though, because it is totally worth it to have nice skin. I use a clarifying cleanser to always make sure my skin is clean before applying products, because then what is the point? My newest favorite is La Roche-Posay. I get it at my local Target, and it can run on the more expensive side for a cleanser, but it is working perfect for my skin.
This cleanser has an almost rose scent, it leaves skin feeling soft and clean. The best part is that it doesn't dry your skin out. Which is a giant plus for this girl...

To combat any pesky breakouts (and to prevent them!) I stick with the Dual Action Acne Treatment that its from the same brand. Just apply a generous amount to that trouble spot and it is gone the next morning! I have tried lots of spot treatments, but nothing has ever worked so well.
Skin doesn't get dried out, unless you constantly use a ton. Should always put on sunscreen after applying.
This is an excellent day lotion, it has SPF 15, and I usually apply it right after the acne treatment has dried. It keeps my skin moisturized without making it oily. Always remember that sun protection is key in any routine!

I talk a lot about how I am happy about things not drying out my skin, thats because I have combination skin. It has gotten super dry with some products that I have tried in the past. Sometimes moisturizers are too heavy and that can make my skin really oily. Nobody wants that. Even with my face masks I make sure that there is a balance.
I use this anti-shine mask around my T-zone, and especially around my nose and upper lip. Those are the spots on my face that tend to get oily. I will make sure to use a more moisture intense mask on the other areas of my face.

I tend to wear false lashes often. To make sure that my eyelashes are staying healthy and hydrated, I stick with Lashe Conditioner. I use it before bed, about 3 times a week. It also works well as a brow gel...
I actually got this conditioner when I was using lash extensions, but I have stopped using those. I still like to take care of my lashes though!

So that's my routine guys! I take my skin and hair care seriously. If you have any questions on where I purchased these times and how much things were, shoot me an email or leave a comment below. Stay slayin!

xoxo
