I added some more things to my room! I know that I posted some about my room and the decorations as one of my first few posts, but my room is finally coming together now. I went shopping and purchased a few things that I thought would make the perfect addition to my room and style, as well as finally hanging up some things from my previous move.
MARSHALLS
 |
I got this copper wire basket from Marshalls for about $9 (quite the deal!). I use it currently as a shoe basket by my door to my room, underneath a mirror. It is an extremely convenient and stylish way to keep shoes off the floor and ready to use. Also... these are only the shoes that I frequently use.
Those are my new sneakers:) |

I got this adorable piece from Marshalls as well. I use it to hang my car keys on by my bed (and anyone else's who visit). Just like with the shoe basket, it keeps my important things organized. If I am headed out the door in a hurry I can find my keys very quickly. I also have another hanger piece by my door for sunglasses and purses. |
TARGET
 |
Most of these pillows are from Target, some older ones are from Walmart. I just recently bought the spotted ones in the back in a discounted set. I also got a new fuzzy dark grey blanket that is in the photo, I use it to cover my bed. Then when I go to sleep, I put it on the inside. It is so soft! I purchased it from Ross for $19 and it is a Queen size. |
Homemade
 |
This is actually something that I made. I took an old window frame, sanded it down, stapling chicken wire to the back. All I used was a hook to hang it up. I put pictures on it and some movie stubs, it is convenient for posting pictures from trips and fun events. |
I have briefly talked about my passion for Interior Design, but I feel that I can discuss it a little more here. At my last house my mom constantly was working to improve on it. We remodeled both bathrooms, my bedroom, the backyard, living room, kitchen and we built a large shed. I have loved remodeling and making things new for a long time.
Picking out tile, floor plans, color swatches, and furniture has always been so exciting for me. I got to remodel my own bedroom and bathroom at the age of 14, and it was honestly so good. I find a natural gift in myself for pairing things together and being able to find the perfect things for a space. I even worked with the interior designer when we sold that house. I am disappointed that I was unable to share that room with you, because we moved before I created this blog. Though it feels really nice to be able to throw myself into redecorating this new room.
I am currently pursuing my passion for Interior Design at American River College, as well as a Business degree. I wish to one day accomplish my goal in having my own Interior Design business and to have an excellent career with something that I love. If anyone has any advice or connections, please reach out to me. Thanks everyone!
xoxo
