First day of college is coming up soon. How many of my readers are also in college? Whether just starting, finishing, or in the middle, the new school year brings many things with it. My boyfriend and I are able to go to school together this year. The year before he was located at a different college for sports purposes. I am interested in how this year goes with him. I think it will be fun. and probably stressful at times...
Getting ready and prepped for school was definitely a challenge this year. I wont bare all the details of my personal life, but I will stick with what is appropriate for the blog...
Target was a saint. I purchased all of my school supplies from there (except for the backpack, which I purchased at the student store on campus). They totally pulled through, but I do recommend doing back-to-school shopping ahead of time. I feel super smart, because I completed mine the month before school. That way everything was still available and in full stock. Don't procrastinate!! On anything!! (Even purchasing highlighters).
I regret picking classes so late. I waited for my boyfriend to clear everything from his transfer (I don't know why...) before applying for a BOG Waiver and enrolling in classes. I could have done it as soon as May, but I chose to put it aside. (Hint: DON'T PROCRASTINATE). Instead of complete and utter destruction, like I assume most of my readers are expecting... I came out on the other side perfectly. I have an awesome schedule, I am able to still work nights and weekends. Also, none of my classes are super early. The earliest class is at 10:30 am. Even my man got great classes and has managed to schedule them all onto only 2 days of the week. (I am impressed).
I plan on staying super organized. I always have and I always will love calendars and planners. I have 4 calendars. Two calendars on my phone, one is in my planner, and I have another small paperback calendar. It feels nice to have everything in order. To know all of my plans, and to be able to ration out my time to what needs it the most.
I will update you a couple months into school to see how things are going. XOXO
